Melodically Beautiful Mozart

Director and violinist Alexander Janiczek leads principal players from the Scottish Chamber Orchestra in a beautifully intimate recording of W. A. Mozart’s Divertimento K. 334 and Oboe Quartet K. 370 in their upcoming release. The works on this disc are full of well-known tunes which demonstrate Mozart’s trademark melodic beauty whilst acclaimed oboist, Robin Williams, gives a dazzling performance of the composer’s great masterpiece. Mozart’s writing allows each player to shine and demonstrates the depth of talent within the Ensemble, illustrating why this orchestra has had such extensive success with its previous Mozart recordings. This, the SCO’s third recording of Mozart’s serenades and divertimenti, is another great addition to the orchestra’s catalogue. Enjoy in Studio Master quality today.

Future highlights include Handel’s first performing edition of Esther with the Dunedin Consort and the first in a series of Mozart operas with The Classical Opera Company. NEW – Kaleidescape Scenes

If you own a Kaleidescape System, you now have Kaleidescape Scenes. This fantastic new feature puts the most memorable moments of your movie collection at your fingertips. In other words, it’s like your very own highlights reel. “I rediscovered Indiana Jones running from the boulder in Raiders of the Lost Ark, and then jumped immediately to Casablanca‘s ‘Here’s Looking at You Kid’,” said Greg Young, a Kaleidescape owner from Clovis, Calif. “My Kaleidescape System reconnected me with these movies and many more.” If your favorite Raiders moment just happens to be when the monkey bites it, you can actually mark your own scenes as well. If you want to leave the clips up to fate (or Kaleidescape), the company does have a crew of “experts” that have handpicked more than 4,000 different scenes from over 700 different titles. Kaleidescape says they plan to add new options every day. I want that job! Kaleidescape Scenes are now available to every Kaleidescape System, in KEAOS 4.2. The scenes database is also part of the exclusive Kaleidescape Movie Guide. KEAOS and Movie Guide updates are distributed automatically, without dealer or customer intervention.
