There are so many things that make the Linn Series 5 System THE sound system to take pride of place in your home.
Its main selling point is Linn’s combination of high-end sound and customisable design. This means you no longer have to struggle to blend in ugly or bulky speakers with your sitting room colour scheme. Instead, you’ll want these top-of-the-range speakers to take centre stage as you can customise their look to ensure they perfectly complement your home.
When you book your personal demonstration at either our Essex or London office, we’ll prove to you just how incredible the 520 and 530 series look and sound. Inside one of our dedicated Linn Suites, one of our experts will demonstrate the two sound systems to their full abilities. They’ll also be able to advise you on which of the two systems best suits your needs and, of course, they can talk you through the various design options available.
520 or 530?
The 520 series features slightly smaller speakers than the 530 (224x892x218mm as opposed to 233x954x325mm). It’s also a fraction cheaper than its bigger sibling. Both systems feature a pair of active floor-standing speakers and an Akurate Exakt DSM hub. The 520 is a two-way system with a twenty-litre cabinet while the 530 is a three-way speaker system with a thirty-litre cabinet.
The Akurate Exakt DSM allows you to stream digital music from any networked source and also includes turntable connections, as well as thirteen digital and analogue inputs.
The Sound
Linn’s groundbreaking use of Exakt technology means even the tiniest variation between drive units is automatically corrected to ensure a faultless performance. The Space Optimisation software builds an acoustic model of your listening environment and removes any unwanted distorting effects.
The Look
The unique fabric of the 5 Series means that you can create a system that looks just as good as it sounds. Linn Fabrik doesn’t compromise on sound quality; instead, it works alongside the Exakt technology to deliver a truly breathtaking performance every single time.
Currently, there are ten fabric designs to choose from. There are five colour choices in the Linn Fabrik Collection, all of which are made from 100% Shetland wool, and five options in the Harris Tweed Hebrides range. Plus, the Timorous Beasties Collection will be available from 2016. You can also choose your own top plate and stand colours.
