Linn Series 3 – The Best sounding wireless speaker in the world
We have just received our first Linn Series 3 speaker, hand built in the UK, it’s a simple all in one wireless speaker.
Unpacking the unit we were very impressed with the packaging. The box opens up like an Easter egg but without the chocolate. Foam lined strong board packaging has been created to keep the Series 3 snug inside its box when in transit. Inside the box you will find a well-designed hi end intelligent speaker
Straight away you can feel the Linn quality, it weighs 7kg and has an elegant polished mineral casting finish.
It was very easy to setup, and within seconds using Bluetooth, its playing music from Tidal, Qobuz, Tiune In and spotify via Linn’s Kazoo App.
It also has HDMI ARC which allows connection up to the TV and if you require stereo you can pair it up with a series 3 partner speaker.
On the top of the unit there is a glass touch control top plate, lit up by 100 LEDs to indicate volume. There are also six numbered pre-sets for your favourite content. These pre-sets can also activate functions when pressed in different sequences.
Like any other speaker it needs to be run in but our first impression is that it has great audio performance
