The 520 series features slightly smaller speakers than the 530 (224x892x218mm as opposed to 233x954x325mm). It’s also a fraction cheaper than its bigger sibling. Both systems feature a pair of active floor-standing speakers and an Akurate Exakt DSM hub. The 520 is a two-way system with a twenty-litre cabinet while the 530 is a three-way speaker system with a thirty-litre cabinet. The Akurate Exakt DSM allows you to stream digital music from any networked source and also includes turntable connections, as well as thirteen digital and analogue inputs. The Sound Linn’s groundbreaking use of Exakt technology means even the tiniest variation between drive units is automatically corrected to ensure a faultless performance.
