A cartridge previously found on many of our award-winning, introductory turntables from Pro-Ject Audio; the OM3E is a highly affordable but very competent introductory hi-fi cartridge. Using the same body type as the rest of Ortofon’s instantly recognisable OM series, this model is a great accompaniment to your entry-level hi-fi set-up.
The OM 3E is a moving magnet (MM) cartridge with an elliptical shaped stylus that provides balanced and distortion-free playback for general listening.
Please note, there is no direct replacement stylus for this unit; the nearest match is an Ortofon Stylus 5E, but any OM-series stylus will fit in this body, including the Stylus 78.
