Projectors and Screens

If you want to create a true cinematic experience, there is nothing better than a huge screen - and that means you just have to have a projector.  Home cinema is one of the the fastest growing areas in our market, a projector screen can give you a picture with a viewing area that's three times as big as most plasmas, and nearly seven  times as big as a 32 inch TV. What's more, projectors have come a long way the image quality, brightness and colour are way beyond anything most people have ever experienced. The thought of being able to generate such a spectacle in a living room is nothing short of mind blowing. cheaper than any big LCD TV, let alone a plasma - in fact if you think about it, you could have a fabulous projector and a complete Home Cinema system for the price of many large plasmas.

A projector can easily fit into your living room, most are not much bigger than a shoe box and can be discreetly mounted on a low table or the ceiling or even hidden within the ceiling on a projector lift until required. The screens can be on a tripod used and then packed away, or hidden behind a pelmet or beam and only pulled down when required either manually or at the push of switch. A very popular viewing method is to have a medium sized plasma/LCD mounted on the wall, with a projector screen hidden above it. Simply pull down the screen in front of the LCD when you need it, then return it to its hidden position when you don't - giving you the best of both worlds.

3U Server Extends Next Generation Kaleidescape Product Line

The Kaleidescape product line-up includes Systems based on the more affordable 1U Server and the high-end 3U Server for greater reliability, scalability and performance. The 3U Server features a Hot Spare Disk Cartridge which improves storage reliability and offers dealers peace of mind in marine and other remote installations. Kaleidescape 1U and 3U Servers

Kaleidescape Servers are engineered to reliably store your movie and music collection. The Servers include Kaleidescape's proprietary storage technology to protect your entertainment investment. As your collection grows you can add additional Kaleidescape Disk Cartridges to increase storage for your movies and music. Multiple Servers can be grouped in a single System to store thousands of movies and tens of thousands of albums as a single collection. Once your movies and music are stored on your Kaleidescape System, they can be enjoyed instantly in any Player-equipped room.

The Kaleidescape Movie Player 2 is a high-performance audio/video component designed to import into and play back movies and music from a Kaleidescape Server. The built-in combo drive imports CDs and DVDs and supports direct-from-disc playback of a DVD without having to import it into the Kaleidescape System. You can play any DVD immediately, or play borrowed and rented DVDs without importing them, eliminating the need for a separate DVD player in your Movie Player 2-equipped rooms.

Kaleidescape Music Player

The Kaleidescape Music Player is a high-performance audio component designed to import into and play back music from a Kaleidescape Server. Each of the four independent zones simultaneously delivers high-quality audio in both digital and analog stereo. The built-in combo drive imports DVDs as well as CDs providing additional flexibility to import Movies in Systems supporting both Movies and Music.

Kaleidescape Speed Reader

The Kaleidescape Speed Reader imports large numbers of DVDs and CDs into a Kaleidescape System. More content, whether from your private collection or one of Kaleidescape's carefully compiled DVD Collections, makes the Kaleidescape Experience even more compelling and engaging.
