The FMJP777 is ideally matched to the Arcam AVR888 AV processor having 7 balanced XLR inputs to link from the processor. The twin toroidal power supplies supply more than enough power to keep all seven channels happily pumping out sound to even the most demanding speakers and barely break a sweat.

Each of the 7 channels is an independent, isolated amplifier in the main chassis with its own secondary winding on one of the transformers. The centre channel is fed by both transformers ensuring optimal conditions for this all important channel. Four Sanken output devices are used per channel, renown for their superb performance under differing thermal conditions.

The circuitry controlling the standby and power up of the the unit is housed in its own aluminum shielded section. This keeps electro magnetic interference to a minimum and allows the soft start system to operate without incident. oft start prevents a current inrush when the unit turns on. Gently bringing the amplification up to speed and protecting all parts involved. The whole chassis is predominately aluminum which aids in heat dissipation and reduces electro magnetic interference. A computer controlled fan also helps maintain optimal working temperatures inside.
